NATIONAL EQUINE PRESENTATIONS – APRIL 1ST DEADLINE

It’s time to think about National Equine Presentations. Preliminary judging will be in May, but you must commit by April 1. The state contest takes place at the State Fair. There are three categories: individual presentation, team presentation, and speech. The winner in each category represents Washington at the national contest in Louisville, KY in November. This is an awesome opportunity to polish your public speaking skills and share your passion about horses. Contact Ann Vonderau for more information, help with content/preparation, or to sign up at amvonde@hotmail.com. Pierce County has had some strong representation in the past with several youth going to nationals. Let’s see if we can keep that tradition going.
