What is Small Equine?
Small Equine in hand is a program for 4-H youth offering an opportunity to learn and show those equine that may be too small to ride (less than 52” tall). There are a variety of classes offered from obstacle to jumping and they are all done in-hand.

SMALL EQUINE MEDALS PROGRAM
To participate in the Small Equine Medal program Horse & Handler combination must earn 2 high blues at a qualifying show or Pierce County Fair in the regular intermediate or Senior Small Equine class they wish to take to the next level.
Find out if you qualify by reviewing points from the past few years. (Note: a high blue would be any ribbon score greater than 60)
